Financially Intuitive: In order to have money and resources to give to others, Potentiators need to be able to easily acquire it. People with this Orientation are so astute in their ability to invest and gather resources that their cup is almost always overflowing.
Humanitarian: Givers believe strongly in humankind--in our basic goodness and limitless potential. They look around their world for talented people who just need to be given a chance in order to shine. When they find a golden boy or girl, they don't hesitate. They get behind that person and provide immediate support.
Decisive: One of the keys to wise investing is knowing a good thing when you see it, and acting promptly. They are living proof of that wise channeled advice: "If you don't follow your spirit without hesitation, you'll end up following your hesitation without spirit."
Patient and Optimistic: Since most financial enterprises take time to come to fruition, Potentiators tend to be as cheerful and patient as Exhorters. Their focus, however, is more on living up to personal potential, while Exhorters get high on witnessing spiritual growth.
Discerning: A Potentiator has a keen ability to discern sincerity of motives, though they don't necessarily do it through the same mechanisms as Consolers.
Discreet in their Giving: Potentiators always give privately and discreetly, so as to avoid publicity in their giving. (They don't like being hit on for donations)
Tasteful and Quality-Oriented: When a Potentiator gives, he or she always makes sure that what they are giving is high-quality, strategic, and maximally useful.
Emotionally Committed, but not Controlling: Potentiators love to feel that they are a part of the lives or work of those in whom they invest. They are committed without being pushy or bossy, and only become directly involved in the work when unanticipated problems occur.
Frugal: A Potentiator views tangible resources as ways of accessing potential.......period. Anything that appears to be frivolous or extravagant tends not to be part of his (or her) lifestyle.
Gregarious and Popular: One of the strong points in a Potentiator's life is his or her ability to gather friends and associates to whom and with whom he can share support. Often, experiences are giving and supporting are part of a Group Effort, organized by the Potentiator or his friends.
Potentiation--Practiced to an Extreme
Their acumen for dealing with tangible resources and large sums of money may cause them to seem insensitive concerning what it takes to produce the products involved. Financially, they can become "velocicized," which makes them appear callous.
Extreme optimism about humanity can make a Potentiator blind to character flaws and relationship pitfalls. When a Potentiator gets jaded or dissillusioned about people in general, his ability to invest and gather resources becomes impaired.
A Potentiator's direct equation between loving and giving may be interpreted as attempts to buy friendship or love.
A Potentiator's clear and easy understand of worldly ways and monetary systems may eclipse his or her ability to see those realities which exist beyond the Veil.
Personal frugality may cause a Potentiator's family and loved ones a bit of suffering, unless they are as committed to giving as he (or she) is.
Character Defects are simply Charismation Attributes, being practiced to an extreme--unconsciously or without a sense of Oneself Integrity.
