The Orientation Toward:
IMPLEMENTATION
"The Gift of Helps"
____________________________
People with this Life Orientation tend to be:
Handy: Implementers have a natural knack for working with their hands or with machinery. They love to collect tools and specialized instruments, to help them be more efficient in practicing the handiwork they so enjoy.
Systematic: Implementers love to create systems and protocols for dealing with problems-especially problems involving physical space and logistics.
Gullible: Being more concerned about logistics than motives and relationships, Helpers can sometimes be overly compliant, allowing others to take advantage. When an Implementer begins to feel unappreciated.......Watch out!
Alert and Resourceful: Implementers have a natural awareness of resources needed for a project---and they keep an eye out for who or what might be available to get their tasks done quickly and well.
Thoughtful: Implementers make great people-pleasers, because they easily and readily make note of the likes and dislikes of other people.
Physically Strong and Able: An implementer's readiness to help and use his body for service maintains levels of health and stamina which are not as common in other gifts.
Eager: Implementers are usually very involved, wherever they go. Like Administrators, they are "busy people," who always seem to find room to do more and more.
Short-Sighted: Implementers try to get jobs done as quickly as possible, and they become impatient when tied to long-term goals.
Always in Motion: Even before a stated goal is achieved, an Implementer has his or her eye out for something else to do.
Meticulous and Careful About Quality: Implementers get frustrated when there are limitations on time or materials to get a job done.
Sacrificial: Implementers are "painstaking" in their durability and commitment. They often sacrifice their own comfort and wellbeing to help others.
Implementation--Practiced to an Extreme
Their speed at taking on responsibility may be interpreted as pushiness or lust for control.
An Implementer's Self-Sacrifice can extend itself to ignoring his own or his family's needs in preference to helping others.
Implementers are so alert at detecting and meeting needs that they quickly become angry when others don't follow suit.
They can be so good at pleasing others that they may quickly advance to leadership positions. This can be prestigious, but it may take them away from their passion, which is personal, physical service.
An Implementer's desire to complete tasks quickly may come off as ruthlessness and lack of love.
Implementers can be easily distracted, especially in an atmosphere where need of his or her services abounds. He can get so bogged down with projects that little actually gets done, which can cause conflict with others (especially employers or supervisors).
Character Defects are simply Charismation Attributes, being practiced to an extreme--unconsciously or without a sense of Oneself Integrity.
